Chick Corea (1941–2021) won 27 Grammys and wrote a catalog that breathes — it works as an intimate piano-and-bass conversation and as a five-piece firestorm. He believed music should be joyful. That’s the whole point of this band.

A live celebration of the music of Chick Corea — Spain, La Fiesta, Armando’s Rhumba, 500 Miles High, and material from Return to Forever and the Elektric Band — performed by Denver’s top jazz musicians.
Is the whole night Chick Corea music?
It can be. Headline tribute sets stay deep in the Corea catalog. For weddings and mixed events, we blend the tribute with Latin jazz and standards — tell us the room and we’ll shape the book.
What size band plays the tribute show?
The full show is a quintet, but the catalog breathes: it scales honestly to a trio for galas and restaurants, or a piano-and-bass duo for intimate rooms. Vocals are available on request.
Where has the tribute show been performed?
Headline shows at Dazzle — Denver’s premier jazz club — and Cervantes’ Otherside. The band has also played the Denver Art Museum’s gala, the Mockingbird’s Sunset Jazz Café series, and Valley Country Club.
